Position: Quality Improvement Engineer
Location: Dongguan Guangdong Province China
Department: TAS Acessories Quality
Job Responsibilites:
-To ensure all our products meet contracted pp standards.
-Driveend to end production process including pre-production process in-line QC and end of line inspections to ensure clear understanding and compliance of TAS/KAS quality standards.
-Train conduct and support the compliance to TAS/KASs Final Statistical Inspection (FSI) process for TAS/KAS Quality Team and nominated Self Inspection Factory (FCA) and 3rd party inspections.
-Guide and develop defect analysis and root cause prevention by using DSS plus and GBSS system and supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS) and data sources.
-Validate inspection integrity with the Factory Certified Auditor and monitor the progress of skip inspections on a timely basis with the quality management.
-Drive the application of the TAS/KAS Quality Manual/guidelines MMS and HTM at supplier and third party and factory level.
-Support platform inspection as necessary
-Support and monitor product safety processes including needle and sharp tool controls metal detection and all aspects of child safety testing according to TARGET/KMART standards.
-To ensure the factory have all development and QA sample reports and good records of corrections to contracted agreed standard guidance notes to be shared at the Pre-Production Meeting.
-To ensure that the correct seal sample trim card complete Quality Master file and factory pre shipment are available and functioning correctly.
Job Requirements
* Associate Degree or above in business admin or Apparel part related.
* 5-7 years of Handbag & Belt experience; previous experience with large retailers is beneficial.
* Detailed knowledge of handbag materials and related product construction
* Factory production knowledge and fitting of the handbag & others accessories.
* Technical engineering and quality skills
* Computer skill and Knowledge of Quality Management and Product Safety
* Mature self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility.
* Ability to work under minimum supervision manage multi-tasks set priorities work with diverse background of people from different levels.
* Good command in both written and spoken Cantonese English and Mandarin.
* Responsible detail-oriented flexible and good team player.
* Ability in problem solving
