The QA Engineer is responsible for testing software systems that support core functionality of Prometheans products. The QA engineer is a member of an agile team focused on delivery of key product functionality. The QA engineer will participate in the full lifecycle of the product from development to production and ensure quality software.
Base Range: CNY181400 - CNY272100 5% Eligible
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be an active participant in the day to day Scrum activities of the team including sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives
- Review and evaluate business requirements in the form of user stories. Participate in the work breakdown and estimation of tasks based on requirements. Identify edge cases risks and testing strategies early in the development cycle
- Author detailed test cases in test authoring system
- Design build and maintain automated test frameworks and pipelines integrated with CI/CD systems to ensure efficient test execution and quick feedback loops
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers product managers UX designers and DevOps engineers to ensure product quality at all stages
- Troubleshoot and reproduce customer found issues in a timely manner
- Document test results generate quality reports and provide meaningful insights during release readiness reviews
- Conduct regular self-guided study to stay current on new and existing technologies
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or related field
- 2-3 years software testing and/or test automation experience
- Some experience or familiarity with appropriate technology frameworks and infrastructure for the team. (e.g. JavaScript AWS Microservices Lambda NoSQL Selenium Android Ionic C QT etc.)
- Experience in unit testing integration testing load testing and related tools (e.g. Jest Junit Artillery Jmeter etc.)
- Exposure to full life cycle system development including: design building testing deployment upgrade and support.
- Experience with application lifecycle management tools (e.g. Atlassian) and concepts for version control work item tracking and continuous integration
