This Position reports to:

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role you will actively shape the global procurement strategy for selected commodities with a focus on cost optimization. You will work closely with R&D suppliers and international category teams to achieve sustainable savings throughout the entire supply chain. Your market knowledge and analytical thinking make you the key contact for cost-optimized procurement solutions.

• Development and implementation of procurement strategies for electronical-/mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership and best-cost country sourcing
• Conducting market analyses managing international tenders and leading price and contract negotiations
• Collaborating with R&D and suppliers to optimize technical specifications and implement second-source strategies
• Initiating and leading cost workshops as well as implementing identified measures for process and cost optimization

What it takes to Run what runs the world

• Completed degree in business or engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in international strategic procurement ideally in an industrial environment
• In-depth knowledge of global procurement markets and cost levers in the production of electronic/mechanical components within an industrial setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP MM
• Strong analytical thinking negotiation skills and diplomatic demeanor
• High level of personal responsibility and a hands-on mentality

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria the minimum salary for this position is 4341.85gross per month as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary depending on qualifications and experience.
