About the Role

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is recognised as a leader in healthcare excellence and innovation serving its local community patients from across Australia and internationally.

RPAH is recruiting Full Time and Part Time administrative officers to complement and enhance the current Women and Babies (WB) Admissions team. The position is based onsite in the main hospital.

The WB Administration Officer will perform administrative functions in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to support effective patient care. The position ensures patients are registered efficiently with accurate details to provide an optimal level of direct and indirect care. Duties include collecting demographic details for accurate patient registration interviewing patients for their financial election and processing admissions discharging patients and associated administrative duties.

Successful applicants will join a 24/7 rotating department working a combination of weekday/weekend/public holiday shifts. All shifts are 8 hours in duration rostered to work a mix of morning (0700-1500) afternoon (1500-2300) and night (2300-0700) shifts.
