Job Description

As a key member of the HR team you will play an essential role in supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP) by managing a range of HR matters within the designated business unit(s). Your contributions will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR services fostering a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

You will support the HRBP in ensuring timely HR service delivery in the following key areas:

  • Recruitment collaborating with the Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services team you will support the administrative processes to ensure that the Business Unit is able to bring in the right talents in a timely manner

  • Contract renewals of staff you will work with key stakeholders to manage the administration of contract renewals of staff

  • Performance management you may also be expected to support the HRBP during the performance management cycle and this may include tracking timelines helping People Managers to understand performance management tools and practices and consolidating data to facilitate discussions.

  • HR Data you will ensure that HR data is accurate and assist in preparation of HR reports/key updates to facilitate decision-making

  • Provide HR advisory services regarding the universitys policies and work processes

  • Collaborate with the HRBP and HR Centres of Excellence on HR projects including policy and process reviews

Qualifications:

  • Degree with at least 3 years of experience in human resources administration or a related field. Candidates with prior experience of working in an educational / academic/ research environment would have an added advantage

  • Highly attentive to details possess the ability to multi-task and to manage deliverables under tight timelines

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving HR needs

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated

Candidates with prior experience in using Workday system would have an advantage.
