You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale residential development in West Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the project is completed on time within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Site Management & Coordination
Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the construction site.
Coordinate trades subcontractors and suppliers to meet project schedules.
Monitor site progress against programme and report any delays or issues.
Ensure compliance with the construction programme and sequencing of works.
Quality Control
Carry out inspections to ensure workmanship meets design specification and quality standards.
Assist with snagging and resolution of defects during construction and handover.
Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries photographs and reports.
Health & Safety
Promote and enforce the companys Health & Safety policies on site.
Conduct and record site inductions and toolbox talks.
Monitor safe working practices and report unsafe acts or conditions.
Administration & Communication
Liaise with design teams engineers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Assist with ordering materials and managing deliveries to site.
Keep detailed records of site activities labour and plant usage.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or Diploma in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent trade background with site experience).
2 years experience in a similar role preferably on residential or housing projects.
Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and residential construction methods.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
Competent in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software is an advantage.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
