Qualifications
The Role
TheroleisforaSenior Associate withinourCredit Risk SolutionsCredit&PoliticalRiskInsuranceteam based in Singapore. This role will involve working in a team focusing on a broad base of Singapore and International Financial Institution clients.
Dutiesandresponsibilitieswillincludebutnotbelimitedto:
- Taking responsibly for account management of key Financial Institution accounts; including broking/placementstrategyproductdevelopmentportfoliomanagementandexpandingclient relationships
- Workingwithexistingclientstoreviewtheirexistingprogramspresentingthebestpossiblesolutions and client outcomes
- Negotiationofpolicywordings/contractreviews
- ContributetodeliveryofournewbusinessstrategyandtargetswithintheGlobalLineofBusiness
- Proactivelyleadinitiativesfornewandexistingclients
- AttendindustryeventsandconferencesinSingaporeandthroughoutAsia
- DevelopandmaintaincloserelationshipswiththeInsurersacrosstheregion
- Developgoodworkingrelationshipsandworkcloselywiththemaincarriersintheregion
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing placements including billing operational requirements and co-ordination with internal claims team
Qualifications
The Requirements
- EducatedtoDegreeleveland/orMasters
- Holds BCP & ComGI
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyonarangeofplacementsandtakeresponsibilityforkeyaccounts
- Problemsolvinganddecision-makingskillsessential
- Excellent communication (written verbal oral & presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking initiative self-motivation and decision-making skills are crucial
- Good use of Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the credit insurance product suite preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle a large workload and prioritize work effectively
- Strong team player with good people skills
