We are seeking a talented individual to join our Specialties Broking team at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Support the structuring of transactional risk transfer solutions;
- Develop integrated projects within Private Equity M&A and risk management practices;
- Review and analyze documentation specific to M&A transactions including information memorandum purchase and sale agreements and due diligence reports;
- Prepare presentation materials for market engagement with insurance providers;
- Negotiate with insurance markets to implement tailored risk transfer solutions aligned with client and target asset needs;
- Engage with strategic and financial investors their advisors (including legal tax and financial consultants) and international networks;
- Assist in executing the commercial strategy including identifying new business opportunities.
What you need to have:
- A degree in Law (preferred);
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in M&A corporate or commercial practice areas;
- Proficiency in English and good knowledge of Spanish;
- Solid skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (mandatory) along with familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools from a user perspective.
- Strong client focus and problem-solving abilities;
- A collaborative team spirit;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Strong prioritization and time management skills;
- A critical mindset with keen attention to detail.
