JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for working with the warehouse coordinator in the Milwaukee Shop. This includes acquisition and addition this position is responsible for helping coordinate the workflow within the Receiving Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes incoming inspection per Purchase Order size and quantity
Operate a forklift.
Reports any Delivery discrepancy to the warehouse coordinator.
Reports material damage at the delivery to the warehouse coordinator
Stages deliveries in designated racks/areas for distribution later.
Pull raw materials from the warehouse to fulfill orders.
Deliver pulled orders to designated machine for processing
Partner with the Mill manager and Warehouse coordinator to ensure coordination of all Shop materials.
Secondary Job Functions:
Help manage stock material level on a biweekly basis
Help cycle count inventory on a quarterly basis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years previous warehouse experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in problem solving/analysis
Ability to prioritize multi-task organize and implement alternate solutions to challenges
Strong sense of urgency
Previous Forklift experience required
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
Must pass pre-employment physical/musculoskeletal exam
Must pass drug screening
Must pass an audiogram test
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand walk use hands and fingers handle or feel as well as reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception the ability to see and differentiate color and to focus.
