CobbFendley is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator in our Houston Texas office.
The successful candidates most important qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years clerical experience required
- Proven self-starter with strong time management skills ability to multi-task and prioritize highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong experience with professional letters reports and other communications
- Excellent and accurate communication skills both verbal and written.

- Proficiency with MS Office products including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision software a plus.
- Knowledge of the Consulting/Engineering industry preferred.

Essential Functions:
- Provide professional administrative support to the Utility Design Department and other employees within the organization when requested.
- Assist with permit coordination correspondence and email.
- Set up of projects and the entry of timesheet/expense reports in accordance with company policy in the company accounting system.
- Ability to multi-task and meet aggressive project and departmental schedules/deadlines which may include some overtime.
- Coordinate calendars assist with travel arrangements schedule meetings and assist with function planning for the department.
- Project/department document preparation and handling.
- Filing printing scanning copying and the binding of materials as needed.
- Assist with the timely scheduling of mail FedEx and courier services for department.
- Assist in the scheduling organization setup/breakdown of conference rooms and the setting up of audio-visual equipment for meetings. This may include the ordering of meals.
- Assist in the maintenance of the office. This includes common areas conference rooms and copiers.
- Training to meet company safety standards.

EXPECTED WORK HOURS
- This is a full-time position generally 40 hours per week however hours may fluctuate depending on department needs including the use of overtime.
- CobbFendleys standard operating hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM CST. Generally employees receive a 1-hour unpaid lunch break free of duty. Please note operating hours and lunch hours may differ based on project workload primarily for field staff.
