Join a team at the heart of some of Aotearoas significant kaupapa. As an Advisor youll contribute to high-impact work programmes including the Waitangi Tribunals Health Services and Outcomes Inquiry (Wai 2575) kaupapa inquiries led by other agencies and the Ministrys response to recent Government decisions. This is a unique opportunity to apply your policy expertise cultural intelligence and commitment to equity in a role that truly matters.
Provide high-quality advice and support across key Mori Crown Relations and kaupapa inquiry work programmes.
Contribute to the delivery and implementation of projects with guidance from senior colleagues.
Support the preparation of discovery information and evidence for inquiries working collaboratively across the Ministry and with external partners.
Help improve internal processes tools and frameworks to strengthen the teams impact.
Ensure all work reflects our responsibilities to equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations

Knowledge or expereience in Kaupapa Inquiries teaty settlement processes or a relevant field
Understanding of Mori relationship dynamics and expereince builing and maintaining highly effective relationships with whnau hap iwi and Mori communities and entities within the Ministrys Te Tiriti framework for the health and disability system.
Ability to operate in te ao Mori contexts including understanding of tikanga kawa and te reo Mori
Relevant tertiary qualifications and working knowledge of the health and social sectors.
