Job Description
The Production Operator works within the Operations/Logistics Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate to a high standard under all established SOP & procedures.
- Carry out all aspects of kitting according to standard operation procedure.
- Maintain all work areas in an orderly fashion as per SOP.
- Perform all LAL Production related activities including glassware preparation cleaning labeling packaging & SAP transactions.
- Responsible for labeling of non-licensed products final product inspection preparation and finishing of accessory products and general environmental upkeep.
- Prepare maintain and distribute appropriate documentation for all materials kitted & shipped.
- GDP compliant.
- Coordinate with Planning department & Logistics Management to ensure all work is performed as required.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to demonstrate a track record of related experience in a similar environment.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
- Other: Must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities; attention to detail computer literacy; and the ability to interact appropriately at all levels.
- Ideally Awareness of supply chain processes and best practices.
- SAP experience desirable but not essential.
