Extruder Operator
Hours: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (Flex)
Pay Rate: $21/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Extruder Operator to join our dynamic team. As an Extruder Operator you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process ensuring the efficient and accurate production of goods. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented have a strong work ethic and are comfortable with physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products.
- Load raw materials into machines and adjust settings (temperature pressure speed) according to product specifications.
- Monitor the extrusion process closely making real-time adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning lubricating and replacing worn parts.
- Maintain accurate production records including product counts and machine settings.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department and company goals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Compensation:
Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties and certifications with an expected hourly wage of $21/hr.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Extruder Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and willingness to follow all workplace safety protocols.
