Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Media Tech and Operations to lead and optimize our media technology strategies.

This pivotal role involves owning relationships with major digital media platforms managing a dedicated team and driving innovations in media performance across various channels.

This role is based in Budapest and is part of an international team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead Digital Media Relationships: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with major digital media platforms to ensure optimal performance and collaboration.
  • Team Management: Directly manage a team of 4 Full-Time Employees (FTEs) some of whom will have dotted-line responsibilities. Provide guidance mentorship and support to build subject expertise across media channels (including but not limited to digital platforms and channels).
  • Streamline Workflows: Design efficient internal workflows and processes including developing effective ways of working with Regional media teams.
  • Campaign Management: Ensure the quality of ongoing campaign management and optimizations by leveraging advanced media analytics and performance metrics.
  • Multichannel Expertise: Work closely with the team to build subject expertise across media channels including Advanced TV (ATV) Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) Digital audio and more in addition to paid social and programmatic display/video.
  • Programmatic 2.0: Own and develop the evolution of our programmatic buying creating a best-in-class strategic approach and establishing hygiene protocols to enhance media buying and performance.
  • Technical Integrations: Lead the engagement with the Web Experience team to ensure seamless technical integrations for optimized media performance.
  • Media Data Reporting: Develop use cases and gather requirements for dashboard visualization design within existing BI tools to ensure comprehensive media data reporting.
  • Generate Insights: Analyze media performance and generate insights incorporating nuances for different walled garden metrics to inform measurement frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Support in identifying appropriate signals that define and inform measurement frameworks ensuring alignment with broader strategic initiatives.

Your qualifications:

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in a media agency client-side role or a combination of both.
  • Deep understanding of media technology stacks and capabilities
  • Strong experience managing media technology supplier relationships including a solid understanding of commercial fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to link operational responsibilities to big-picture and construct a supporting narrative
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex insights to a broad audience.
  • Proven track record in managing teams and leading strategic initiatives
