Join the firm as a Technology Risk Manager and make a significant impact in the world of technology and AI! This is an internal role where you will be responsible for leading comprehensive risk assessments of cutting-edge technology solutions and AI tools.
Working closely with subject matter experts youll evaluate and secure risk approvals ensuring each tool and its use cases are thoroughly assessed. Building and maintaining strong relationships inside and outside of the organisation youll play a crucial role in identifying and managing risks proactively.
Additionally you will support firm-wide information protection initiatives assist with data security investigations and use your expertise in Generative AI to drive innovation and enhance our internal operations.
In this role you will:
Identify and assess technology risks in client service delivery platforms working with SMEs to address risks (cybersecurity threats system vulnerabilities third-party integrations data and legal risks risks associated with emerging technologies).
Collaborate with internal business units IT teams client engagement leaders vendors and R&Q SMEs to identify and address risks. Foster a risk-aware culture and support the delivery of secure reliable and compliant client services.
Own the full compliance lifecycle for every AI tool/use case from initial registration through approval deployment checks and ongoing monitoring.
Coordinate and conduct risk reviews of AI tools and use cases (this involves tiering each tool and use case by risk level and coordinating with the corresponding SMEs to secure overall risk approval).
Work closely with the Gen AI Leadership team to understand their pipeline and needs review risk assessment outcomes with the Risk Lead Partner and seek approval to enable safe risk-approved use of Gen AI tools.
Monitor the implementation of controls and safeguards required following approval being given.
Provide support in the investigation and management of data breaches and the implementation of the firms wider information protection activities.
Work across all operating units within R&Q/OGC to develop implement and embed AI technologies in internal delivery models and operations to enable innovation boost productivity and enhance both the team and our internal clients experience.

5 years experience in technology risk management or a related field.
Strong expertise in AI technologies and their risk assessments.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a focus on technical subjects.
Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with technology risk framework principles and tools ChatGPT-E Microsoft.
