About the role
As a System Engineer the successful candidate will be part of the systems engineering team that is responsible for defining integrating and testing the systems behaviour for Enphases energy solutions.
We are looking for motivated self-driven graduates who have majored in electrical/electronics software or computer system engineering. The right candidates will be passionate about renewable energy product design and development.

What you will do
Conduct Design verification test (DVT) to assure full coverage of system design(s).
Design develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for both software and hardware systems DVT.
Developing automation scripts using Python that controls lab instruments like Grid simulator Power Analyser Oscilloscope SAS Programmable loads and other Enphase products.
Troubleshoot the system failures encountered during DVT and analyse root cause for the failures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify the requirements and design effective test strategies for integrated systems.
Database management for test results test data analysis either manually or using python-based data analysis script.
Responsible for documentation of test plan and test reports
Who you are and What you will bring
Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering computer engineering or computer science.
At least 1 year experience in a similar role
Hands-on experience with electrical electronic or software systems. Makers are welcome.
Good understanding of basic software concepts including code management release management and versioning
Good communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Desire and passion to change the world.

About the Christchurch team
The Enphase Energy New Zealand facilities are in Middleton and Wigram Christchurch. These are Research and Development Centers focused on the design and testing of our cornerstone product the Microinverter. Enphase New Zealand has a team of around 120 engineers and support staff. We also work closely with our Research and Development colleagues in California Texas and Bangalore.

All offers of employment are subject to standard background testing required by Enphase Energy.
