As Vetting Superintendent you willsupervise control and coordinate all vetting and ship clearance matters for a group of allocated ships.

What you will be doing
The Vetting Superintendentis responsible for maintaining direct communication with customers regarding ship clearance matters vetting reports and inspections. This means performing different kind of tasks with a flexible and customer-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day to day running of the Stolt Tankers vetting system for his/her assigned fleet of vessels.
- Assist SMTs with guidance in preparation for customer vetting inspections including attendance on board were deemed necessary.
- Manage the owners comments in response to vetting reports.
- Manage the incident notification process including incident reporting in cooperation with SSHEQ department.
- Develop and maintain close working relationship with the oil majors.
Qualifications
- Chemical tanker and ship management experience (Master Chief Officer). Vetting (Marine superintendent) experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent multitasking organizational and inter-departmental collaboration skills.
- Flexible and customer-oriented mindset.
