Job Description
The Rose F. Kennedy Childrens Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) at Montefiore is nationally recognized multi- disciplinary program that provides a broad spectrum of clinical services for infants children adolescents and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
The psychologist will work with patients with developmental disabilities beginning at age 3 on RFK CERCs Infant Preschool Team. Primary responsibilities will focus on diagnostic and intervention needs. The psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological/psychoeducational evaluations for diagnostic clarification and to assist with educational and treatment planning. Therapeutically the psychologist will use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help patients and family attain their goals.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists social workers
speech/language pathologists and developmental behavioral pediatricians
Teaching and research opportunities are available
Applicants must be licensed in NYS
English/Spanish bilingual is strongly encouraged but others will be considered
License and Education
New York State license as a Psychologist
Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
Completion of Ph.D. or Psy.D. from a clinical psychology or related field.
Experience with learning disabilities/neurodevelopmental disabilities is preferred.
