Must-Have Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution

Current unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of employment

Minimum two years of clinical experience including at least one year in a comparable role
Position Summary
The Licensed Psychologist will provide high-quality psychological services within an institutional setting. Key responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments collaborating with multidisciplinary mental health teams and developing individualized treatment plans.

Perform psychological screenings and clinical interviews to assess patient mental health status

Collaborate closely with psychiatrists physicians nurses social workers and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care

Develop implement and adjust treatment plans based on clinical evaluations

Conduct regular rounds in confined or specialized housing areas to monitor patient adjustment and mental health needs

Utilize counseling theories and techniques tailored to individual caseload needs

Provide mental health assessments and crisis intervention to support patients in distress

Consult with various staff members to understand and address behavioral escalations and changes in mental health status
