Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Award Administrator - Boca Raton FL.

The Award Administrator reports to the Associate Director of Awards Services and works closely with the award services team within the Office of Sponsored Programs.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or bachelors degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Experience managing the day-to-day activities of sponsored awards i.e. grants administration and/or research administration.

Provide related supervision training and consultation to staff and faculty on as needed basis

Must understand the federal regulations for institutions of higher education i.e. Uniform Administrative Requirements Cost Principles and Audit Requirements 2 CFR 200.

In-depth knowledge of Electronic Research Administration such as GrantsERA Fastlane etc. as well as a working knowledge of Workday or other comparable financial accounting system

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must have knowledge of contracts administration.

Strong organizational problem-solving and time-management skills.

Must be able to work collaboratively with others at various levels both within and outside the University.

Salary:

$65000.00 - $72000.00 per year.
