You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Assistant Manager Community Engagement and Development serves as an educator and facilitator to foster student development and co-curricular learning by actively engaging with student club leaders and doing so the job holder supports the development of ownership social responsibility integration and accountability in alignment with NTUs educational goals. Additionally the role functions as an effective intermediary between university management and student governing bodies to ensure alignment with NTUs vision and mission.
Key responsibilities:
Manage student academic clubs special interest groups and those engaged in community service ensuring their compliance with NTU policies and code of conduct and supporting the mediation of disputes should these arise.
Supervise and mentor student leaders in the management of their club activities identify student developmental gaps and opportunities recommend and support the implementation of appropriate developmental initiatives.
Support the implementation of strategies to develop a culture of social responsibility community contribution inter-disciplinary collaborations and integration among NTU students.
Support initiatives to develop strategic partnerships which support/enhance NTU student development in their areas of interests and community service/volunteerism.
Portfolio data analytics and preparation of reports for regulators and NTU senior management.
Job Requirements:
A good degree from a recognised university with at least 5 years of work experience.
Experience in youth development through mentoring and coaching.
Knowledge of youth aspirations developmental needs and how these might be achieved in line with NTUs vision for its graduates to demonstrate competence character and cognitive agility.
Familiar with the volunteer and social services sector social entrepreneurship and how the public and private sectors work collaboratively to create social impact.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Analytical critical thinker who is comfortable with change and a dynamic environment.
Good in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Strong collaborative mindset and people management skills.
