In short were looking for a SRE/Platform Engineer focused on scaling and performancea keen coder at heartwho strives toautomate everything like you doesnt it Come join aphenomenal ride as weshake up the globalveterinarysoftware space!
Heres a few projectsweve started and/or youll be across:
- Containerization and clustering(Docker AWS EKS)
- Establish security best practices across the company
- Complex security projects from design through implementation and maintenance
- Search and Reporting (ElasticSearch)
- Implementation/Optimization of a Caching infrastructure (Redis Varnish)
- Implementation of Data Warehousing solution (AWS DMS S3 Redshift)
- Performance Optimisation (via slow transactions in DataDog)
- Automation pipelines for EVERYTHING (Gitlab CI)
What we think youll need to nail it:
- A seasoned SMEworking with infrastructure as code (Terraform CloudFormation etc)
- Strong knowledge of security topics - network and application security infrastructure hardening security baselines and web server / database security
- Previous Web/Application Development experience- youll be right in the code at times to guide our applications engineers
- Proven person of action & delivery focused
- Results orientated
- Strong experience withAWS- EC2 RDS Lambda DynamoDB ElastiCache(Redis) ELB
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience withcontainer orchestration technology
- Strong attention to detail with relentlessfollowup
