Job Description
We are looking for a Director of Engineering
Director of Engineering is overall in charge of maintenance operations of hotel facilities electrical systems kitchen equipment emergency power system and other related equipment in accordance with guest service preventive maintenance and energy conservation standards and programs.
As a Director of Engineering we rely on you to:
- Manages departmental operations expenses and prepare for annual budget & Capex
- Ensure hotel s facilities are MEP system in good working condition to support daily operation
- Establish and implement preventive maintenance program to achieve higher reliability and serviceability of hotel facilities
- Plan and implement projects to improve plant efficiency and reduce other operating & maintenance costs
- Ensures systematic and cost-effective process of operating maintaining and upgrading of assets
- Identifies hazards & potential safety concerns and be accountable for Fire Life Safety in hotel
- Ensures compliance with international standards and local authority requirement
- To conduct training programs for team members in accordance with the requirement of Engineering Services Manual and Fire Life Safety Manual
- Conduct Engineering and Fire Life Safety audits
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Engineering Services Manual and Fire Life Safety Manual or as directed by the General Manager
We are looking for someone who:
- Degree in Engineering or relevant
- Minimum of five (5) years with advanced knowledge of building management/engineering experience in hospitality industry
- Hands on experience in hotel operations repair and maintenance;
- Strong understanding of building life safety system and energy management systems.
- Strong Leadership qualities
- High levels of flexibility adaptability to changes
