Job Title: Platform Engineering Senior Engineer
Location: Chennai
Work Type: Hybrid
Position Description:
- Overall 5 years experience working with decision systems platforms (FICO systems Provenir SDS/PowerCurve etc.)
- Programming proficiency in Python SAS or SQL (multiple languages advantageous)
- Advanced coding skills in R Python Java or SQL
- System testing expertise: Proficiency with testing capabilities within decision management platforms
- STEM degree (Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and understanding of analytical model development credit bureau data and financial services
- Knowledge of lending landscape and various in-house and outsourced systems applications & services used by Decision Systems
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work and adapt in fast-changing environment with tight delivery timelines
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to network and build strong relationships with internal and external peer groups

- Credit Scores Credit Analysis
- Financial Services
Skills Preferred:
- Agile Software Development CI/CD

Experience Preferred:
- FICO systems experience strongly preferred
- Automotive finance or consumer lending background
- Experience with regulatory compliance requirements (FCA PRA guidelines)
- Knowledge of the clients Credit or automotive manufacturer finance operations
- Previous experience transitioning from vendor-managed to in-house platforms
- Champion/challenger testing methodology experience
Education Required:
- Bachelors Degree
