Job Title: Platform Engineering Senior Engineer

Location: Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid

Position Description:

Overall 5 years experience working with decision systems platforms (FICO systems Provenir SDS/PowerCurve etc.)
Programming proficiency in Python SAS or SQL (multiple languages advantageous)
Advanced coding skills in R Python Java or SQL
System testing expertise: Proficiency with testing capabilities within decision management platforms
STEM degree (Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Engineering) or equivalent experience
Knowledge and understanding of analytical model development credit bureau data and financial services
Knowledge of lending landscape and various in-house and outsourced systems applications & services used by Decision Systems
Strong analytical problem-solving and organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work and adapt in fast-changing environment with tight delivery timelines
Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to network and build strong relationships with internal and external peer groups

Skills Preferred:

Agile Software Development CI/CD

Experience Required:

Automotive finance or consumer lending background
Experience with regulatory compliance requirements (FCA PRA guidelines)
Knowledge of the clients Credit or automotive manufacturer finance operations
Previous experience transitioning from vendor-managed to in-house platforms
Champion/challenger testing methodology experience

Bachelors Degree
