Job Description

Salary: $ 140000.00

We have partnered with an Engineering and Consulting Firm in the Concord NH area to provide them with a Director of Environmental Health & Safety. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Director Environmental Health & Safety:

#1. Must have at least 10 years of Loca environmental experience.

#2. Must have experience with HAZWOPER safety issues and a proven track record of coordinating safety operations across various sites including general and construction industries.

#3. Must have familiarity and experience with OSHA Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers.

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.

Requirements for the Director Environmental Health & Safety:

  • Associate degree or Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training or equivalent of education and experience.
  • Must have experience with HAZWOPER safety issues and a proven track record of coordinating safety operations across various sites including general and construction industries.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism in managing time costs and deadlines and possess excellent communication skills for interacting with employees management and regulators.
  • Familiarity and experience with OSHA the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) the Department of Transportation (highway and railway) asbestos regulations construction-related safety industrial hygiene and other safety standards are highly desired.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license have own transportation and proof of current auto insurance and be able to travel for project site visits meetings and training. Travel is highly dependent upon project work requirements and may be extensive at times.
  • Must possess OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and Management/Supervisor Training certificates.
  • Possession of professional certifications such as CSP CHMM or CIH is preferred.

Other Key Requirements:

  • This is an in-office role (local candidates)
  • No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
