Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee and coordinate nursing operations within our facility. This role is responsible for Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment for nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for all nursing activities to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care.
- Oversee daily operations within the nursing department ensuring compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop implement and monitor policies procedures and care plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Support mentor and evaluate nursing staff promoting teamwork accountability and professional growth.
- Collaborate with residents families and interdisciplinary teams to address patient care needs and concerns.
Education & Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (required).
- Current RN license in good standing (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or in a similar leadership role.
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility (SNF) is essential.
