About our role

We are seeking a full-time permanent Supply Planner to join our team based at Chifley Park in Mentone. Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager Veg & Sauces this role is responsible for overseeing supply planning for our Echuca manufacturing plant.

You will manage the end-to-end supply chain planning functions for the plant ensuring customer service targets are met while maintaining inventory within policy limits and driving supply efficiency. You will ensure alignment between upstream processes - including WIP management key materials such as crops and supplier inputsand the finished goods plan.

This role also plays a key part in enhancing supply chain agility by identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities. You will ensure consistent deployment of both insourced and outsourced planning processes across the team and coordinate the supply response in the monthly S&OP process to support effective resource allocation and business planning.

What you will do

  • Drive operational excellence to support product leadership and cost competitiveness strategies.
  • Manage and strengthen internal partnerships across the extended supply chain including Ag Services Procurement Demand Commercial Logistics and Finance.
  • Ensure supply planning processes operate at Class A standards with a strong understanding of manufacturing sites seasonal factors and key material supply.
  • Oversee sanctioning processes for crops and finished goods and ensure WIP plans align with seasonal requirements escalating exceptions as needed.
  • Integrate alternate or dual supply streams in response to changing business needs and manage planning for product changes through the NPI process.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain agility efficiency and inventory optimisation.
  • Coordinate the monthly supply review process ensuring effective decision-making and alignment with the S&OP business plan.
  • Support scenario planning and financial modelling to inform supply chain decisions.
  • Directly manage a planning portfolio within the category to implement best practices and support peak periods.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Manufacturing Engineering Finance Logistics are essential
  • Substantial supply chain planning experience in Food or related FMCG industry is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop cross-functional relationships
  • Understanding of Class A Integrated Business Management principles is highly desirable
  • Experience with Advanced Planning Systems (eg i2 SCP or other) is desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel Word Access)
  • Strong understanding of Master Planning concepts and execution processes (logistics customer service deployment).
  • Analytical and modelling skills enabling sound financial decision making
