Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Supply Quality Engineer to work at our customers site on a contract basis.
Supply Quality Engineers (SQE) work within the Performance and Improvement Function in the business and are responsible for conducting product and documentation verification and final product release to our customers from the Manufacturing Business Units and the external supply chain. This vacancy is for both internal manufacturing facilities and external supply chain and may include significant amount of travel (mostly domestic) and potentially overnight stay requests of up to 4-5 days a week.
You will work with our Design Authority Manufacturing Engineers Supply Chain Planners and Buyers to ensure that all aspects of manufacture meet the requirements of the product definition and purchase order. The SQE will also experience significant interaction with our customers during the execution of this role.
Role details:
As an SQE you will operate as the Independent Acceptance Authority ensuring contractual customer and regulatory requirements are satisfied. This includes (but not limited to)):
1) ensure that purchase order requirements are fully understood by all stakeholders
2) plan surveillance based on risk and previous experience of the materiel and supply chain performance.
