Senior Account Manager- SingaporePosition Overview

Our Commercial Sales Account Managers have specific responsibilities that include daily sales calls on existing customers in an assigned territory. He/she must be able to present products to architects designers end users and other users. New end use business development skills are preferred. Additionally he/she must continually prospect for viable new accounts while developing a key awareness of what is happening in Singapore.

Candidates must have excellent presentation skills and have the ability to inspire our A&D clients by sharing our product design inspirations.
Candidates must have the knowledge and skills to manage and grow their businesses through A&D End Use Contractors; and have the ability to completely manage a project from inception to installation.
Sales territories must be managed through performing all essential daily weekly and monthly activities. All territories will have an annual business plan which is executed through annually.
Candidates must have specific account based prospecting plans utilizing SPPM with all account notes captured in . It is expected all salespersons can complete the appropriate account profiles for A&D End Use and Contractors. All profile notes should be documented in .
All territories will do monthly business reports.
The expectation is to average 4-6 sales calls daily focusing 85% of our time and sales calls on A&D and End Use clients who write or influence specifications.
Have the ability to work with marketing on all account-based marketing plans while following through on all marketing leads within 48 hours.
Our Account Managers must implement the selling process in the designated territory; they must have the ability to make good judgment decisions. A full understanding of the product line is essential. Furthermore an understanding of the application that each product serves is critical. The ability to interact/communicate with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner is a must. The ideal candidate will possess a flexible personality and be able to communicate clearly to other persons both orally and in written form. The Account Manager must deliver presentations to architects designers and end-users to educate them on the flooring industry and how Shaw Contract brand can benefit them on their projects.
Preferred Experience:
2 years of prior sales experience
Experience in commercial interiors or commercial finishes
Experience managing a dealer network
Experience selling through institutional segments (including but not limited to all levels of government education and healthcare)
