We are looking for an Assistant Vice President / Vice President Finance based at Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong!
As an Assistant Vice President / Vice President Finance we rely on you to:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and local statutory requirements
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations in each hotel
Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
Provide variance analysis and financial insights to support decision-making
Monitor financial KPIs and implement prudent cost management
Operational Finance & Controls
Supervise daily accounting operations including AP AR GL FA Project and payroll
Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to Groups Manual of Accounting Procedures
Oversee cash flow and working capital for efficient utilisation of funds
Strategic Business Partnering
Support the hotels with financial insights and timely analytics
Drive financial awareness and accountability across the hotels
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and develop the HK&TW finance teams
Ensure succession planning and capability building
Foster a culture of integrity collaboration and continuous improvement
We are looking for someone who has:
Bachelors degree or above in Accounting Finance or a related business discipline; professional certification (CPA ACCA HKICPA) is preferred
A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in hospitality finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of hotel operations financial systems and ERP platforms
Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with senior business leaders at the regional / local level as well as a multi-cultural team
Strong analytical skills with business acumen
Strong knowledge of hotel operations financial systems and ERP platforms
Excellent command in both verbal and written communication in English and Chinese would be a plus
