Job Description

This position involves being a technician supporting chemical applications and this employee will be working with a local Solenis this position the employee will be trained to conduct lab testing repair and install chemical feed equipment input numbers into excel inventory control chemical transfers and maintain a positive customer (mill personnel) relationship.
- The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation
- Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment.
- Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks.
- Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring; Delivers chemical and compiles trial data at the customer site
- Alerts the site manager of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues
- Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
- Specs out sets up maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment
- Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in an industrial environment:short term exposure to hot and cold areas industrial noise wearing ear protection (ear plugs)etc.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Plumbing/mechanical/electricalskills. Knowledge and ability in at least one these areas. On the job training will be conducted.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word Excel) is preferred but can be trained on the job.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills. There will be team support to help.
- High safety awareness-Ability to complete safety training follow safety policies and work in a safety-oriented manner.
