Job Description
Cargo Component Technician
Pay: $18$22/hr
Location: North of Tulsa Area
Shift: 3rd Shift 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Cargo Component Technician to join our aerospace team. The Cargo Component Technician will be responsible for repairing and testing key aircraft cargo componentsincluding PDUs latches ball mats and morein a fast-paced team-oriented environment. This is an excellent opportunity to build your skills in a high-quality hands-on aerospace setting.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of aviation-related technical experience or equivalent education preferred
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals and schematics
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Repair and test aircraft cargo components including PDUs latches locks lateral guides and ball mats
- Use hand and power tools to perform repair work
- Read and interpret technical manuals schematics and work instructions
- Communicate clearly with team members and document shift handoffs
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace as a dedicated Cargo Component Technician
Preferred Education
- Technical training in aviation mechanics systems or related discipline is a plus
