DHL is hiringaQualityControlSpecialist to work in our CVG Hub in ErlangerKY. This role will be responsible for helping to monitor and review theexecution of all policies and procedures in line with DHLs Global StandardOperating Platform pertaining to the Shipment Movement the role will take an active part in training operational staffmembers as to further the organizational knowledge of all departments in scopeof Global SOP to best meet customer and internal requirements. The role willalso gain a working knowledge of First Choice and be involved in monitoring andexecuting various continuous improvement initiatives in the Hub and AirsideOperation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strong knowledge of the Global StandardOperating Platform
Develop working knowledge of First Choice GEMBA and5S concepts
Perform daily Zero Defect audits to review processcompliance and checkpoint visibility
- Lead GEMBA and 5S Walks
- Review CCTV for quality in Operations processes
Develop ability to facilitate training sessions asrequired
Assist in Global SOP activities including all localcountry and global reviews occurring at CVG Hub
- Assist in driving a Living Global SOP culture
Works closely with Operations Management Team toprovide quality and performance support asrequired
Ability to work 3rd shift weekends & holidays asnecessary
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong operational knowledge of CVG Hub processes and procedures
- Communication skills both verbal and written
Computer skills Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook) required
- Research skills and analytical thinking
- Public speaking or facilitation skills recommended
- Professional demeanor and appearance
