Position Summary:
The Client Services Manager coordinates the agencys case management referral and financial assistance services for clients within the 24 counties of Southern Colorado. The Client Services Manager is responsible for maintaining the principles and standards for Ryan White Part B funds as set forth by Human Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Colorado Health Network (CHN). The Client Services Manager provides daily support and supervision to Medical Case Managers Critical Events Case Manager Team Lead Case Manager and support staff. The Client Services Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community partners and funders.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Works with the Director and Associate Director of Client Services to provide all aspects of program development and administration including;
    • Program visioning planning and evaluation;
    • Problem/issue identification analysis research and resolution following Quality Improvement guidelines;
    • Budget development and monitoring;
    • Programmatic reporting and record keeping
  • Provide supervision training and support for all program employees
  • Completes 1:1 supervision meeting at least once per month with each direct report
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key funders policymakers supporters and community influencers related to client services
  • Provide guidance for and work closely with the Client Advisory Board (if applicable)
  • Develops an annual program Quality Improvement plan in conjunction with the Client Advisory Board Associate Director of Client Services and other applicable stakeholders
  • Prepares monthly progress reports for program contracts and grants
  • Participate in management meetings both locally and with other statewide department managers
  • Oversees special projects in the department
  • Ensure consistent communication with offsite employees in Greeley. Weekly travel to Greeley is required.
  • Address client concerns complaints and grievances appropriately
  • Ensure programmatic compliance with HIPAA and all related confidentiality/privacy legal requirements
  • Ensure programmatic and staff compliance with CHN policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with Ryan White Standards of Care legislation and regulations pertaining to HIV case management
  • Stay up-to-date with HIV/AIDS disease and treatment issues

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have three to five years of professional experience in case management social services or a related field. Supervisory or team management experience is required for consideration at the higher level of the position. Experience providing case management is strongly preferred along with a background in serving individuals living with HIV or similar vulnerable populations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in diverse environments with individuals of all gender identities sexual orientations racial and ethnic backgrounds housing statuses and lived experiences. Strong interpersonal skills a client-centered mindset and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external partners are essential. A positive attitude adaptability and commitment to equity and inclusion are highly valued.

Education:
A bachelors degree in social work human services public health psychology sociology or a related field is required. A masters degree is preferred. Applicants with relevant lived experience may substitute that experience for formal education and such experience will be considered in evaluating qualifications.

Software Utilized:

Experience working with basic office and database computer programs including familiarity with Microsoft Office SQL Excel Teams and the internet.

Knowledge Skill and Ability:

Previous experience in the development of evidence-based training and facilitation is highly preferred as well as excellent communication client relations and management skills. Familiarity with trauma-informed care harm reduction principles motivational interviewing and cultural humility is important. The role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential along with the ability to manage and support staff toward performance goals. A successful candidate will be able to lead programs implement policy manage deadlines and contribute to a collaborative and mission-driven team culture.

Material and Equipment Directly Used:

This position involves frequent use of standard office equipment including computers printers scanners copiers and telephones. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel and Outlook is required. Candidates should be comfortable working with client database systems and learning new software tools as needed.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

Works in an office environment. Must travel to offsite locations. Regular weekly and monthly reimbursable travel required. Candidates must be able to lift and carry materials up to forty-five pounds. This role involves frequent use of computers and telephones requiring both visual acuity and manual dexterity. The ability to sit stand and engage in extended periods of screen time or communication by phone is necessary to perform the essential duties of the role.
