You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPublic Health - King County Medic One (KCM1) is seeking a highly productive detail-oriented Administrator II able to operate independently and effectively with modest direction and guidance. This position reports to the KCM1 Office Manager and plays an important role in supporting the KCM1 Leadership Team. Successful candidates will excel at managing and/or coordinating administrative projects and programs effectively while operating easily within a highly dynamic environment. Candidates will demonstrate a commitment to equity principles and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ideal candidates will also demonstrate skills and experience in building strong productive working relationships with internal and external customers and providing exceptional customer service in these areas.
Primary responsibilities of the Administrator II position include coordinating oversight of the continuing education program for KCM1 paramedics to ensure completion of all Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and Ongoing Training Evaluation Program (OTEP) course requirements and successful paramedic recertification in a timely and efficient addition the Administrator II is responsible for overseeing all KCM1 medical and administrative recordkeeping functions including the proper processing of all medical record requests and subpoenas and assurance KCM1 is following all required medical and administrative records retention schedules per King County and other governmental regulations. The Administrator II also compiles reports and conducts data analyses to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assesses financial discrepancies year-over-year trends and/or fiscal compliance with King County audit and/or administrative policies. Other responsibilities include the appropriate management of KCM1 fleet accounts and PCard purchasing processes in compliance with King County procurement rules and regulations. These duties require the ability to balance multiple tasks and goals problem-solve in a timely manner and quickly adapt to new situations while listening and communicating effectively.

Typical work schedule for this position is will 4/10 hour days with one day in office and the ability to telecommute. This is a Non-Exempt position and is subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible.
Work Location
The primary work location for this position will be based atth Ave S Kent WA 98032.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
Teleworking:
Some of the work associated with this position will be performed through teleworking and will report to office location and to meetings as needed. Travel to other work locations may be necessary. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. To support employees during this time King County has a robust collection of tools and resources to support working remotely.
