Job Summary

The Discovery Logistics and Trade Specialist Team is a dynamic group with high client visibility within IQVIA. It functions as part of the Global Clinical Supply organization supporting research laboratories. This team specializes in assisting researchers with their international and domestic shipping needs.

The role will assist department Director in providing logistics and trade support to project and operational teams within client research and development organization; accountable for interfacing with R&D teams vendors/collaborators Global Trade Compliance Logistics Operations and other departments to coordinate manage and track clinical supplies shipments to and from internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating and tracking research shipments from client program teams to internal and external partner sites
Liaising with teams to gather and process supporting documentation for shipping materials domestically and internationally.
Manages greenlight process and Broker Clearance Instructions for imports.
Creates invoices and shipping documents and engages carrier for shipping of packages.
Maintain shipment logs for imports exports and domestic shipments.
Responsible for trade aspects by liaising with Global Trade Compliance and Logistics Operations.
Providing Logistical and trade guidance and expertise to the scientific community.
Perform all import and export transaction in compliance with clients Global Trade Compliance policy and standards and other global country rules & regulations as applies to all processes sites and resources.
Provide local and broker KPIs and metrics.
Local carrier and broker management including leading meetings with concerned brokers.
Update and maintain local company documents supporting logistic and compliance policies and SOPs.
Communicate effectively with local regulatory agencies to ensure shipping documents are compliant with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Ensure audit readiness and participate in audits and CAPAs.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

BSC in biological science or science related concentration or at least 3 years of relevant experience
Logistics and/or Trade Compliance experience preferred.
Experience with Global Trade Compliance or regulatory audits preferred.
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including English.
Excellent attention to details
Computer systems experience (e.g. MS Outlook carrier systems ERP SAP)
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
