Job Description
What will you do
As a Java Tech Lead you will be responsible for creating and implementing high-quality solutions for some of the largest investment banks in the world. On a daily basis you will make technical decisions that move the project forward lead and mentor a team of engineers to build solutions that meet client requirements take ownership of project deliverables and ensure timely high-quality outcomes and collaborate with clients by providing updates and gathering feedback. You will work in a Scrum environment monitoring progress reporting on project status and sharing your expertise through technical guidance and support for team members.
Your skills:
- At least 5 years of practical experience in Java (Java SE Java EE/Spring multi-threaded programming)
- General broad familiarity with a variety of technologies covering the full application stack (front-end back-end databases integration technologies)
- Well-established experience in creating application architecture and choosing technology to business requirements
- Practical experience in implementing design processes ensuring high quality of solutions provided
- Practical knowledge of the Scrum methodology or similar agile methodology
- Good communication skills and ability to establish effective cooperation with clients
- Fluent English and readiness for frequent written phone or direct communication
- Availability to work in a hybrid mode twice a week from the office (Krakw)
Nice to have:
- Practical experience with AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of JIRA
- Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development methodology
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect
- Work experience in distributed teams
