C3 AI is seeking a Senior Accounting Operations Analyst to join our team at our office in Guadalajara this role you will oversee various aspects of the AP and Procure-to-Pay processes and initiatives. We seek an analytical self-motivated individual with experience thriving in high-growth environments. The ideal candidate will blend a positive collaborative demeanor with a hands-on approach effectively contributing as both an individual performer and a team leader. Reporting directly to the Accounting Operations Manager this role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Procure-to-Pay process including purchasing accounts payable and vendor setup with a focus on process enhancement.
- Process invoices and secure approvals in compliance with company policies.
- Work collaboratively with business owners and vendors to obtain all necessary documentation and support.
- Coordinate weekly payment runs compiling necessary documentation.
- Prepare monthly accruals for vendor invoice expenses.
- Facilitate the accounting close and reporting for the Procure-to-Pay cycle.
- Conduct reconciliations and analysis for balance sheet accounts related to Procure-to-Pay.
- Document internal controls within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Procure-to-Pay operations and reporting.
- Support systems enhancement and automation projects.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests.
- Perform general accounting support tasks and provide documentation for external audits as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Experience in high-growth companies preferably within the Software SaaS/PaaS industry.
- Ability to efficiently manage day-to-day responsibilities while adapting to changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail process orientation and proficiency in systems.
- Experience with NetSuite and Coupa is advantageous.
- Familiarity with FloQast account reconciliation is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Outstanding organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset.
- Capacity to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
