QUALIFICATIONS: High School and/or some college work; AND:
12 months office clerical or administrative experience
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Bachelors degree preferred
Volunteer or paid experience in drug and alcohol prevention public health health field or social services
Ability and skills to contribute to a positive team-oriented work environment with both members of the project and the department.
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of office procedures.
Working knowledge of accounting processes.
Ability to use a computer and calculator.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel and Word)
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
Must be detail oriented.
Ability to multitask be organized and self-motivated
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Basic math skills.

This position is being filled though OUs PEAK Temporary Staffing Service.
Under the general supervision of the Director-Regional Prevention Initiatives this position is responsible for support to the Strategic Prevention Framework-Prescription Drugs and the Community Based Prevention Services project within the Southwest Prevention Center.
DUTIES:
Perform administrative duties in support of substance use prevention projects as assigned.
Assist in the collection of data for reports and statistical research.
Compile statistical data in Excel spreadsheets.
Online outreach and promotion using social media under guidance from project staff.
Participate at community and campus meetings health events festivals or activities.
