JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced snowflake architect to lead the design implementation and optimization of snowflake data platform.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting robust scalable data architecture solutions that support advanced analytics data warehousing and real time data processing initiatives across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Exceptional communication and presentation skills capable of explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

A self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with diverse teams

Architect and implement scalable secure and high-performance data solutions on Snowflake platform

Understand business challenges data requirements and current technology ecosystems

Develop and Enforce data architecture best practices including data modeling ELT/ETL pipelines and data governance

Understand the concepts of data marts and its usage across enterprise

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Design end-to-end pipelines ensuring seamless integration with snowflake

Optimize snowflake solutions for cost efficiency performance and reliability

Lead technical engagements collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders

Guide data engineers analyst and developers in implementing best practices on snowflake

Establish and enforce governance security and compliance standards within snowflake environments

5 years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles

At least 3 years of hands-on experience with snowflake.

Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data solutions across industries

Experience working in consulting or client facing roles particularly with D&A or enterprise customers

Deep understanding of modern data architecture principles including cloud platform AWS

Expert knowledge of snowflake architecture including data sharing performance optimization and data security

Experience integrating snowflake with BI/Visualization platform like Tableau or Business Objects or Crystal Reports

Hands on experience with data modeling schema design and ELT pipeline development

Understanding of cloud-native services for data ingestion transformation and orchestration (e.g. AWS services)

Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to integrate snowflake with SIEM solution for real-time monitoring alerting and compliance reporting

Experience integrating snowflake with SIEM platforms such as AWS

Experienced design data pipelines that securely ingest security logs and audit data from snowflake into centralized SIEM platforms

Experience in designing high performance data extraction process using Teradata to snowflake

Experience in leverage amazon S3 as an intermediate staging layer for seamless data transfer and scalability
