Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Design configure and implement Emerson DeltaV control systems for Life Sciences manufacturing
- Develop and program batch processes (ISA-88 standards)
- Collaborate with clients to create custom automation solutions that meet cGMP and regulatory standards
- Configure DeltaV controllers HMIs and historian systems
- Support FAT/SAT testing commissioning and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with GAMP5 21 CFR Part 11 and validation life cycle requirements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Mentor junior engineers and share expertise with the team
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Chemical or Control Systems Engineering (or related field)
- 3 years of hands-on Emerson DeltaV experience (design implementation configuration)
- Life Sciences / Pharma industry experience (biotech pharmaceutical or medical devices)
- Proficiency in ISA-88 Batch Processing and DeltaV Batch configuration
- Strong knowledge of cGMP GAMP5 and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
- Familiarity with automation protocols (Ethernet/IP Modbus TCP/IP Profibus OPC Foundation Fieldbus HART)
- Experience conducting FAT/SAT startup and commissioning
- Excellent troubleshooting problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for client support
