Position Overview:
As a Sales Operations Specialist you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing the sales operations function within the organization. Your expertise in sales processes data analysis and cross-functional collaboration will contribute to enhancing the efficiency accuracy and overall effectiveness of the sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to drive process improvements that align with sales goals and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Process Management: Lead the design implementation and continuous improvement of sales processes ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Monitor the end-to-end sales process identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for streamlining to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with the sales team to gather feedback and insights to refine and optimize sales workflows.
Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze sales data performance metrics and trends to provide actionable insights for the sales team and senior management. Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making. Identify patterns and anomalies in sales data translating findings into strategic recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including finance marketing and customer support to ensure seamless communication and alignment of processes that impact sales operations. Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
Process Improvement and Training: Identify opportunities for process improvement within sales operations and lead initiatives to optimize workflows and increase efficiency. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for sales team members on new processes tools and system updates.
Microsoft Excel experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM forecasting Salesforce automation etc
Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
Capability of business insight
