As the Finance Application Senior Adminstrator youll be the go-to expert for keeping our Oracle general ledger running smoothly. Youll help shape how financial data flows through our systems support users across the business and lead improvements that make our tools even better. This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What youll do
- Support Oracle users with day-to-day needs and troubleshooting
- Maintain and update solution rules reports hierarchies and data grids
- Lead and coordinate user training and documentation efforts
- Manage data integration and master data governance processes
- Monitor and maintain transaction matching scripts
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to design and implement system improvements
- Ensure adherence to SOX internal controls and provide evidence in audit walkthroughs
Basic qualifications
- 3 years of experience with monthly and year-end financial close budgeting and forecasting
- 3 years professional experience working with Oracle GL Application
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in Finance Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- In lieu of a degree 8 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of experience with Oracle GL Application
- Familiarity with financial consolidation systems such as OneStream HFM Hyperion etc.
- Knowledge of SOX internal controls
- 3 years of experience with SQL or similar querying language
- 3 years of experience with programming languages like Python or Java
- Proficiency in creating translating modifying and amending scripts in support of products
- Experience loading financial/statistical data and troubleshooting system issues
