Job Summary

Location: Addision High School and Middle School
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with endorsement in Science (DX) Grades 6-12 or Biology (DA) 6-12 or Integrated Science (DI) 6-12.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce classroom management procedures consistent with district PBIS and MTSS initiatives
- Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction demonstrations and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe question and investigate
- Monitor student progress with making sense of phenomena and solving problems using the three dimensional learning: Disciplinary Core Ideas Cross Cutting Concepts and Science and Engineering Practices.
- Familiar with the The Next Generation Science Standards and other Framework-based standards.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students varying needs and interests
