JOB TITLE: Sr. Avionics Installer - 1st Shift
LOCATION: Dallas TX
PAY RATE: $33.81/hour

Summary:
-
Provide direction to technicians; ensure tasks are completed within allotted timeframes
-
Coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time aircraft delivery
-
Install modify and fabricate wiring electrical components fixtures and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints worksheets and engineering drawings
-
Train and mentor team members in associated work assignments
-
Apply advanced skills and innovation to improve team efficiency and quality
-
Assist engineering with troubleshooting and repairs per engineering direction
-
Maintain accurate logs and records
-
Ensure all work meets regulatory and customer requirements
-
Enforce compliance with the companys FOD program tool control 5S and safety procedures
-
Inspect completed work including that of other team members to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection
-
Properly maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned
-
Coordinate shift transitions in the absence of the team leader
-
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. YIAW Kaizen events)
-
Assist or back up the team coordinator as needed

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Either:
-
Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years of related work experience or
-
Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electronic career field
-

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
-
Working knowledge of policies and procedures inspection manuals and relevant process specifications
-
Proven ability to quickly transition to new tasks with minimal impact on goals or schedule
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficiency with computer use and basic keyboarding skills
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
