Job Description

JOB TITLE: RS Interior Installation Technician II - Weekend Days
LOCATION: Savannah GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary

Summary:

  • Safely perform removal installation and fabrication of aircraft interior components

  • Coordinate with supervision and inspection to comply with FAA and company standards

  • Track parts demand squawks and work sign-offs in material tracking system

  • Use and maintain hand/power tools and shop equipment properly

  • Remove/reinstall nut plates inserts and fasteners; apply hardware correctly

  • Comply with safety 5S and housekeeping policies

  • Assist other technicians with maintenance requirements

  • Adapt to schedule changes as needed

  • May support aircraft certification and flight testing

  • Collaborate with senior technicians to implement Lean Six Sigma and process improvements

  • Create and use simple patterns following standardized procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2 years of relevant installation fabrication or related experience

  • Aerospace industry experience preferred

  • Ability to read write speak and understand English

  • Proficient with hand and power tools and computer systems

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation

  • Able to climb ladders work in confined spaces lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
