JOB TITLE: RS Interior Installation Technician II - Weekend Days
LOCATION: Savannah GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Safely perform removal installation and fabrication of aircraft interior components
-
Coordinate with supervision and inspection to comply with FAA and company standards
-
Track parts demand squawks and work sign-offs in material tracking system
-
Use and maintain hand/power tools and shop equipment properly
-
Remove/reinstall nut plates inserts and fasteners; apply hardware correctly
-
Comply with safety 5S and housekeeping policies
-
Assist other technicians with maintenance requirements
-
Adapt to schedule changes as needed
-
May support aircraft certification and flight testing
-
Collaborate with senior technicians to implement Lean Six Sigma and process improvements
-
Create and use simple patterns following standardized procedures
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
2 years of relevant installation fabrication or related experience
-
Aerospace industry experience preferred
-
Ability to read write speak and understand English
-
Proficient with hand and power tools and computer systems
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
-
Able to climb ladders work in confined spaces lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
