JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Technician I
LOCATION: Dallas TX
PAY RATE: $26.93/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Perform basic aircraft inspections repairs and modifications under supervision. Assist with aircraft movement as needed.

Complete CMP cards work order sign-offs and other documentation accurately and on time.
-
Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.

Identify and tag customer property and equipment.
-
Store aircraft components and customer property securely.
-
Operate ground support equipment (external power carts hydraulic units lifts forklifts compressed gas cylinders etc.) following standard procedures.

Protect customer property at all times.
-
Use material tracking system to create parts demand and charge labor to Work Orders items and squawks.

Collect and dispose of waste fuel oil hydraulic and de-icing fluids and solvent rags properly.

Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas.

Maintain and properly store company-provided tools and equipment after use.

Follow safety rules and procedures use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions.

Assist with aircraft certification and final phase testing including flight tests as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate or 2 years of aviation maintenance experience.

Valid Drivers License.

Working knowledge of FAA regulations process specifications Repair Station and Quality Control manuals and company policies and procedures.

Ability to read write speak and understand English.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
