JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Technician I
LOCATION: Dallas TX
PAY RATE: $26.93/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Perform basic aircraft inspections repairs and modifications under supervision. Assist with aircraft movement as needed.

  • Complete CMP cards work order sign-offs and other documentation accurately and on time.

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.

  • Identify and tag customer property and equipment.

  • Store aircraft components and customer property securely.

  • Operate ground support equipment (external power carts hydraulic units lifts forklifts compressed gas cylinders etc.) following standard procedures.

  • Protect customer property at all times.

  • Use material tracking system to create parts demand and charge labor to Work Orders items and squawks.

  • Collect and dispose of waste fuel oil hydraulic and de-icing fluids and solvent rags properly.

  • Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas.

  • Maintain and properly store company-provided tools and equipment after use.

  • Follow safety rules and procedures use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions.

  • Assist with aircraft certification and final phase testing including flight tests as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate or 2 years of aviation maintenance experience.

  • Valid Drivers License.

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations process specifications Repair Station and Quality Control manuals and company policies and procedures.

  • Ability to read write speak and understand English.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
