Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery Full Time Nights
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) 3 shifts/week (36 hours)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary Range: $32 $53/hr
Facility is a flagship teaching and research hospital in Dallas with over 914 licensed beds. Recognized by U.S. News & World Report Newsweek and Beckers Healthcare BUMC has consistently been ranked among the Top 20 U.S. Major Teaching Hospitals and has held Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence since 2018.
Unit Details Labor & Delivery:- Bed Count: 17 L&D beds 3 ORs
- Patient Ratios: 1:2; 1:1 in second stage & recovery
- Annual Deliveries: 5000
- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience in L&D (Level III or higher preferred)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Certifications (AHA only):
- RN License (TX or compact)
- BLS Basic Life Support (within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days)
- NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (within 30 days)
- Orientation: Per facility policy
- Holiday Pay: Applies from 6:45 AM on holiday to 6:44 AM the next day on these holidays:
- New Years Eve & Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve & Day
- Cancellation Policy: At the will of the facility
