Job Title: Sr Compensation Analyst
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Location: Minneapolis MN 55432
Duration: 2 Years (with possible extension)
Shift: Monday Thursday 1st Shift (100% Onsite)
Position Summary:
The Sr Compensation Analyst will support the Cardiac and Vascular Group (CVG) business unit in administering and analyzing sales incentive compensation promotions and contests. This includes commission calculations system validation audit support reporting and process improvements. The role requires strong technical analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and drive accuracy and compliance in compensation programs.
Responsibilities:
- Process monthly quarterly and annual sales commission calculations.
- Manage exceptions adjustments data inputs and payouts.
- Administer quarterly promotions and sales contests.
- Partner with IT on Callidus (SAP Commissions) enhancements and testing.
- Develop and execute test scripts for commission system validation.
- Conduct SOX audits related to commissions and promotions.
- Document business procedures and workflows.
- Provide data analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor program compliance with policies and best practices.
- Prepare dashboards and metrics to evaluate plan performance.
- Lead business requirement sessions for process/system improvements.
- Support annual incentive planning and related documentation.
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on initiatives and projects.
Education:
- Required: Bachelors degree in Business Finance or Human Resources
- Preferred: MBA or Masters degree in a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years in Compensation HR Systems Finance Payroll or Sales Operations
Technical & Tool Proficiency:
- Systems: Callidus (SAP Commissions) Business Objects Workday PeopleSoft
- MS Office Suite: Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
