About the Position
As an Application Engineer on our team you will work closely with the co-founders on porting and optimizing algorithms for our new processor.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Short-term: Providing feedback to the hardware team from a software and application perspective (influence processor architecture)
- Mid-term: Implementation of algorithms for benchmarking purposes during the development phase
- Long-term: Implementation of customer applications and demos (customer interface) continuous feedback for hardware development
Qualifications & Experience
- The ability to port and optimize algorithms for a new processor
- Min 3 years of experience in a hardware and software design
- Strong understanding of hardware / processor design
- Experience with DSP Tools (C/C MATLAB)
- Experience writing assembly code
- Experience with AI algorithms (LLMs YOLO etc.) - preferred
- Experience with AI frameworks or runtimes (CUDA PyTorch Tensorflow ONNX) - preferred
- Experience with DSP algorithms (FFT DCT including addressing modes incl. Butterfly etc.) - highly beneficial
